PPEdu has social inclusion in school education and carries out community and academic activities reaching various social and cultural segments. This insertion has been expanded through knowledge transfer and the integration of different approaches. We highlight PPEdu's actions within social/artistic movements and non-school educational institutions.
The project "Place of experiences: preservation of the memories and stories of a building inhabited by student and artistic hope" deserves to be mentioned.
Among the results from this project is the book "Canto do MARL: narratives of a place occupied by student and artistic hope", published in 2019, which was funded by the Municipal Culture Incentive Program (PROMIC) and relates memories of the Student Movement and the Street Artists Movement of Londrina (MARL) about a historical, educational and cultural heritage of the city. This book is a basic reference for the educational and cultural workshops given by the street artists to the students of Londrina's schools.
PPEdu has several consolidated researchers, some of whom are CNPq research productivity fellows, leaders of research groups that nucleate and train researchers focused on school education and different educational modalities.
One impact is PPEdu’s hefty presence in the training, qualification and nucleation of pedagogical and administrative subjects in the Londrina and region's education system, as well as the presence of PPEdu graduates working in public and private higher education.
An action of academic solidarity by the PPEdu is its participation in the pool of PPGs in Education in the southern region of Brazil, involving UEL, UEPG, UEM, UNIOESTE, UNICENTRO, UFSM and UNIVALI. This cooperation, which has occurred since 2009, aims to collaborate with the technical, scientific and cultural development of joint projects of teaching, research and extension; enable access and use of available infrastructure in all entities; promote the exchange of teachers and students between programs.
Also worth highlighting is the Program's involvement with the performance and continued education in Basic Education and Higher Education, through courses, lectures, workshops, and workshops aimed at improving school education and human formation.
he PPEdu, through established partnerships, can offer MINTER (Interinstitutional Master's) and DINTER (Interinstitutional Doctorate).
PPEdu’s challenge is that of educational innovation, identifying, producing and transferring the creations generated in its research scope to the education networks and society.
Its innovations unfold in a broad spectrum of knowledge and technology transfer initiatives that stand out for their plurality of themes and social subjects involved, and also for their action strategies (events, extension projects and community action, articulation with teaching systems through support and operationalization of continuing education programs, elaboration of materials for scientific and didactic dissemination, direction of institutions, devising of learning evaluation protocols, etc.).
Considering the knowledge produced in researches in the scope of PPEdu, the teachers, students and graduates of the Program promote advisory/consulting activities to expand the improvement of school education and different teaching modalities, such as:
Evaluation of the teaching and learning process
Production of resumes;
Advising on pedagogical projects;
Public policy design;
Curating of school historical collections;
Production of textbooks/educational materials;
Setting of guidelines for public councils for children and adolescents;
